Privacy policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

This policy explains how UES Energy Solutions Limited ("UES", "we") handles personal information collected through this website. It covers the website only. Data held inside the Prodhub software on behalf of customers is governed by each customer's agreement with us.

01Who we are

UES Energy Solutions Limited is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Our registered office is at Plot 126, Obadina Street, Omole Estate, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

For any privacy question or request, email prodhub@uesenergysolutions.com.

02What we collect

We collect what you choose to send us, the technical information needed to run the website, and, only if you allow it, analytics data:

  • Demo requests and enquiries. The forms on this site open your own email app with a pre-filled message. We receive what you send: typically your name, company, role, email address and message.
  • Job applications. If you send a speculative application, we receive your name, contact details, CV and anything else you include.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the website.
  • Usage data, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the website is used: pages viewed, time on page, how you arrived, approximate location (city level), and device and browser type. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use analytics data to identify you, and we do not build marketing profiles of visitors.

03How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange demos or working sessions you ask for.
  • To consider your application for current or future roles.
  • To operate, maintain and protect the website.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

04Our lawful basis

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies, other data protection law, we rely on: your consent when you contact us or accept analytics cookies; steps you ask us to take before entering a contract; our legitimate interest in running a secure website and responding to business enquiries; and compliance with legal obligations.

05Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host this website and our email, acting on our instructions.
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics and processes usage data on our behalf if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors, where necessary.
  • Regulators, courts or law enforcement, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we take steps to make sure your information remains protected to the standard required by law.

06How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and maintain our business relationship, then delete or anonymise them. We keep speculative applications on file so we can contact you if a suitable role opens, and delete them sooner if you ask. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account and then deleted automatically.

07Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another organisation. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; for analytics cookies, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.

To make a request, email prodhub@uesenergysolutions.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

08Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information by email.

09Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children.
